Shropshire - a rural idyll

Shropshire is said to be the least crowded and most peaceful counties of England and one of the few remaining rural idylls. As a visitor to Shropshire you will need to know all the best places to visit and interesting things to do while you are here.

Stiperstones

The quartzite tors rising from the top of the Stiperstones ridge lie within the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and are visible for miles around. The reward for the steep and uneven climb to the top of the ridge is the sight of buzzards, curlew and skylarks which can be seen in the area.
